BMX Wheels

BMX wheels essentially come in two varieties. The traditional wheel uses spokes, just like your average motorcycle wheel. Mag wheels are often made from a plastic composite material and have only 4-5 connections between the rim and the hub.

Having the right set of BMX wheels can have a significant impact on the overall riding experience. Wheels are different depending on the particular riding style. Riders that do a lot of jumping will need a much sturdier pair of wheels than those that are mainly cruisers.

The cost of a pair of BMX wheels can vary depending on their characteristics. A basic stock set of wheels can often be found for under $100. However, more advanced designs can often cost hundreds of dollars.
